Beginning Chess 5th-8th Grade

Scholars will be introduced to the game of chess, learning the names of each chess piece as well as how they move. During each sessions scholars will pair off with one another to practice their newly acquired skills. Scholars will also be given handouts to help them further practice their game at home. This course begins on Wednesday, January 24th and runs through Wednesday, February 28th meeting from 2:30pm-3:30pm in the Online Office located at 1104 Investment Blvd. in El Dorado Hills. Scholars are required to come dressed in their FULL John Adams Academy uniform for all sessions. The suggested Family Contribuition for this course is $31. The financial situation of a scholar is not a hinderance to participation. Financial Aid is available by contacting Online@johnadamsacademy.org
