Beginning Chess 2nd-4th Grade

Scholars will be introduced to the game of chess, learning the names of each chess piece as well as how they move. Scholars will pair off each week with one another in class to practice their newly acquired skills and will also receive handouts to help them practice their game at home. This course begins on Wednesday, March 6th and runs through Wednesday, April 17th. Scholars are required to wear their FULL John Adams Academy uniform when attending enrichment classes. *Please note there will be NO CLASS held on Wednesday, March 27th as this is Spring Break week. The suggested Family Contribution for this course is $31. The financial situtation of a scholar is not a hindrance to participation.
